Open Arts Hub

A graphic presenting the logo of the Open Arts Hub Berlin. It shows yellow text on a blue background.

For the first time since Institut für Neue Soziale Plastik was founded in 2015 its training and consultancy services now receive public funding from one of Germany‘s federal states: Open Arts Hub Berlin got underway in early 2025. It is a resource run jointly by the Institute and the OFEK support-centre in cases of antisemitic violence and discrimination. Open Arts Hub Berlin brings together the expertise and services of both organisations into a single contact point for cultural practitioners and arts institutions. Services on offer include workshops, further education training sessions, support counselling and artistic consultancies for curatorial processes where an experienced critical view on antisemitism is called for.

The services can also draw on the expertise of RIAS Berlin, the Berlin-wide network for reporting antisemitic incidents, as well as on that of Berlin’s MBR, the mobile support team against right-wing extremism.
