May 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel. At this occasion Institut für Neue Soziale Plastik takes a closer look at German-Israeli cultural relations and puts together a kind of inventory: How have cultural relations developed over the past ten years? Who are the key players in each area? Where are untapped potentials or possible synergies? What prospects are opening up for German-Israeli cultural relations?
The study uses an expanded definition of culture including both youth exchange and academia.
